Like you, I take my dreams seriously ... here's a dream I had over 25,000 times! ~ Linda Deir
While I became aware of my Guides at a very young age, I did not always know who they were. I was introduced to them in a remarkable life-destiny dream that set the stage for my entire life. ~ Linda Deir
Chapter #1 of Guided, First Contact – The Merry-Go-Round Dream
“Linda’s perspective on the current direction of the world, the planet, and our dumbing-down and increasing ignorance of our society – a situation she verbalizes well and follows that with a cautionary plea to tune into our guides to get us through this increasingly mad merry-go-round that is life.”
~ Grady Harp, Amazon HALL OF FAME TOP 100 REVIEWER of Guided ©2014
Ray's Dream - how the Guided Journey came together...
It was July 21st, 2021 and like always I asked Ray, “so, Ray, what about your dreams.” This is nothing unusual, it’s the first thing I ask Ray every morning when he gets up. However, this dream hit the jackpot when it described how I would organize the 8 years of insights my Guides and I had developed.
“People were logging onto a counseling service to get the help they needed. We were the ones who put this service online. It was an easy way to find the topic about what they were looking for that they couldn’t find anywhere else.”
When I asked Ray how this dream felt, he said,
“It felt good because people were using it. It was fun and easy for everyone to use.”
I was still about 6 months from completing the mapping of the insights, but this dream stayed with me. I wrote it down exactly as Ray described it, made copies of it and placed it everywhere until I could see what it was showing me, and exactly how to build it – the birth of the Guided Journey. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream of being in a car on a bridge and the ocean is overflowing, but instead of driving the car to the shore at the end of the bridge, I drove the car back into the center of the bridge causing me to drown?
Water represents emotional energy. The ocean is the largest body of water (emotional energy). In your dream the ocean water is overflowing (emotions are dominating your life). Even though you can see what to do to get away from the danger of all the emotional energy, you get pulled back into it. Summary: the emotional energy you are in is so big it will pull you down if you don’t get away from it. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why do I keep having this dream? School starts in 10 days, and I keep having a dream that I wake up and I’m in school. I didn’t even know it started. I wasn’t prepared - what is this dream telling me?
When you woke up you realized you are here to learn something but felt like you were late. This new awareness catches you off-guard and unprepared for what you need to know right now in your life. Your dream is making you aware that you have been missing important lessons in your life. Now that you have been made aware of this you need to catch up, so you no longer miss what you need to be learning as you move through your life. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream of my deceased father giving me his shirt?
The shirt … “The shirt off his back,” giving it to you suggests he will give you anything he can to help you through your life. In other words, he is looking over you. Remember to ask him for help whenever you need it. It will be easier to connect with the help he sends you when you first write down what you asked him to help you with. Expect a reply! ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean when I dreamt of fighting with a black cat? The cat was energetic, but I fought it, then it ran but I also ran after it, caught it, and killed it with a lot of difficulty.
Cats represent female energy. The color black represents what you cannot see, therefore feels threatening to you. This black cat is you. It’s the female side of you that you don’t understand, which is why it was so difficult to kill. So, the question to ask yourself is, what is it about you that prevents you from understanding the mysterious unknown side of yourself? ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does my dream mean when my ex-husband is cutting off all my hair, and it’s painful?
Hair represents personal power. He caused you pain by cutting off your personal power. Even though he’s your EX, you still allow him to have control over how you feel about yourself – your personal power. The lesson in this dream is for you to realize this, so you are no longer vulnerable to his attacks on your self-confidence.
~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What can I do about looping dreams? As in, it’s like watching a movie, but a scene keeps repeating itself, I force myself to wake up to end it.
A dream that repeats itself is attempting to get your attention! To get what that is you must write it down, and like the dream continue to do, continue reviewing what you wrote down along with how it feels. This short video trailer of chapter 1 of my book, Guided, will help you clear this up: https://lindadeir.com/chapter-1-first-contact-merry-go-round-dream/ ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Whenever I'm feeling down, there is always a man appearing in my dreams. I can't see his face, but I sense his presence. I feel so safe, protected, and comfortable. When I wake up, I feel at peace, light, and as if the dream was real. Who is this man?
This masculine energy is your Guide making you aware that you are protected. By the way, this dream was real! You can relax knowing this. To build on this awareness you must write your dreams down as they are obviously very important. When you do this, your connection to your Guide will evolve providing you with timely guidance every time you need it. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean when I dreamt about an old lady giving me money?
Inheritance … something being passed down to you that contains value, something that represents a special type of value that only you would understand and appreciate. It could be money, or something that represents value, like money does.
~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I dreamt that I was standing very sad in darkness and a picture of myself was coming down from above. It has a golden frame and light shine from the frame. In the picture I'm very happy? What does this dream mean?
Darkness represents the inability to see anything. In your despair your sadness was overcome with happiness as your higher self (from above) showed itself to you in golden light (you are your higher self). Summary: whatever you are going through right now requires you to look up and then envision yourself out of that situation. To do this, envision your higher self like you did in this dream, do this every time you are feeling sad and hopeless. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why do the details of a dream evaporate so quickly after I awaken?
The Native American Indians refer to sleeping as “Little Death.” What that means is you enter a world totally different from the earthly world when you sleep and dream. So, upon re-entry to the earthly world when awakening from your dreams, is slipping into a less conscious form of existence. To increase your odds of remembering your dreams, you must make an effort to remain lucid (before you fully awaken), so you can recall your dreams or messages while you are still in two worlds, before you allow yourself to fully wake up to your earthly life. To do this keep your journal next to your bed so you can write down your dreams or messages. Do this before you get out of bed – before your feet touch the floor and ground you out of the dream world. With practice you will remember more of your dreams, which increases your consciousness in your day-to-day life. Doing this will change your life in many more ways than you expect. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I’ve had frequent nightmares for about a year now. They happen around 3-5 days a week. Sometimes they disappear for about 2 months but come back. Why?
Nightmares are warnings. Having them as frequently as you are, is guidance attempting to get your attention – notifying you that you are missing something, something you need to face or know about. You must write them down or you will never see beyond the frightening nightmares. Fear is controlling your life. This insight will help you with this: https://lindadeir.com/the-end-of-being-controlled-by-fear/~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I dreamed of a small baby. It was so little. I put it somewhere to rest. I put a blanket under it and spread the blanket out and made sure it was perfect for the little baby. What does this dream mean?
The baby represents something brand new in your life. An idea, person, or thing that is currently very small. The mere smallness of this makes you feel you must protect it, so you put it to rest (put your project on hold). You protected this new idea that is so delicate by putting it in a place that was perfect for this new emerging idea to be safely preserved. You have taken great care to protect it. Summary; so, what have you been pondering? What did you overlook or forget about that you have on hold? Write this dream down so you can begin to see the details of what this dream is telling you. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to see many tigers (I think they were mid-size or cubs) in the dream? Also, I saw a temple where these tigers were tamed and made to sleep under white sheets. I also saw my family members in the dream.
The tigers represent your primal energy, your nature. These tigers are being tamed … you are watching how your powerful nature is being repressed. Made to sleep under the white sheets … whiting you out, like you don’t exist. Since your family members where also in your dream they may have something to do with all this. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... In my dream, someone I know who has died is talking to me, but I cannot understand what she is saying or trying to tell me. What does this mean?
Someone who has crossed over is telling you something you need to know, but you don’t want to hear what this person is telling you. You are blocking something in your daily life that you need to know. In order to get through this block, you must start writing down the unusual and out of the ordinary occurrences that are happening in your daily life. Do this for 15 minutes a day in your quiet place. Review your journal entries a day, a week, or a month later and you will see what you have been missing, so you stop blocking what you don’t want to hear but need to know and understand. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I dreamt of a lot of snakes trying to bite me. What does this mean?
Snakes represent Kundalini energy. Their bites are to awaken you! A powerful opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, so you can see things and people for what and who they are. Snakes could also mean, a snake in the grass, so to speak. This would describe people who have bad intentions. I would need more details from you to determine exactly what this dream is conveying. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I'm a 17-year-old girl. My classmates hate me. My academic performance is degrading. My mom yells at me all the time and my dad simply won't help. I can't handle it anymore. What do I do?
This is radical; therefore, you must take charge! I lived a very similar childhood as you. The only way out was through it, so I started writing in my journal about what was going on all around me. To my surprise I figured things out. I was able to get to the truth and tell myself the truth! I had the best friends helping me understand what I was writing in my journal, from beyond this world. Below is an insight I wrote about how to take charge of your life regarding what you are going through right now: https://lindadeir.com/pushed-to-your-limit/ ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I had a dream that I was hanging out with Putin. The last thing he said was "I won't be back for your name." What does that mean?
Your name is your identity. However, that is about to change. Putin’s Russian identity represents a strong authoritarian leader. So, this means your current identity is under pressure and in question as to who it is you really are and who you are becoming. Hint: examine who you are, not who you think you are: https://lindadeir.com/who-do-you-think-you-are: https://lindadeir.com/who-do-you-think-you-are/ ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean when I dreamed that I was shot. My father whose is deceased hugged me and tried to get me help?
Something happened in your life that your father considers damaging to you. He sees this and hugs you knowing you do not entirely see this for yourself yet. He is hoping to get your attention so you will seek out the help you need to gain a better understanding of yourself. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What is the scariest and most realistic nightmare you've ever dreamt of and still remember until now?
It was the Merry-Go-Round dream, a dream I had for the first 35 years of my life that never changed. It was prophetic dream about the world we find ourselves in now. I wrote a book about this dream that won an Int’l Award that was published in 2014 entitled, Guided, by Linda Deir available on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes.~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean telling a little child you are pregnant in a dream?
In a dream, pregnancy represents a new project, whether it’s an actual baby or a project you’re thinking about working on. Telling a little child that you are pregnant introduces the part of you (the child) who would be excited about this news of new life of hope and possibilities that is not here yet, but on the way.
So, what ideas are you pregnant with? It’s important to write them down while this energy is alive within you. Write them down from the perspective of the little child you are speaking to in your dream. Feel what that feels like and write that down next. This will bring you to a realization you would have never reached had you not written it all down. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What is the spiritual meaning of dreaming about golden ash?
Golden opportunities will show up when you let go and release the past (ashes from the past). Freeing you to move to new heights of understanding that are golden to understanding yourself now. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream about someone else's teeth falling out and they instantly turn into broken up dentures when the other person catches them, but I have never met this person in real life ever before?
You are everyone and everything in your dream. The teeth represent communication. The dentures represent false teeth, faulty communication. Your old false way of communicating is being shattered, but you are not alone because you have a safety net, your higher self. Learning to communicate with your higher self is the message in this dream. You made it a point to mention that you never met this person before, your higher self, but this is about to change as your new way of communicating begins. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why did I dream that I was telling a girl, who in my dream liked my ex-boyfriend, what he was actually like?
You are both people in the dream, you and the girl. Your higher self is the one who is speaking to the girl (the girl represents the part of you who is unaware) letting you know the truth about your ex-boyfriend. Your higher self is also letting you know you still have feelings for him, which is what makes it so hard for you to see the truth about him. Write down the details of the truth your higher self showed you about him in this dream. This is just the beginning of building this relationship with your higher self, which is a more aware aspect of you. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream of killing two black worms (a very fat one and a baby one) that I called them silkworms in the dream?
A silkworm spins silk to make a cocoon. The cocoon represents the place where new life begins. Killing the adult and the young black silkworms represents your resistance to this new life attempting to emerge within you. That doesn’t mean it was bad, just your reaction to this situation. To understand why you reacted the way you did, ask yourself how killing them made you feel. This will reveal why you choose to kill them. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I have dreams where I constantly forget about my partner. I also have dreams of my partner cheating on me constantly. What does this mean?
Forgetting about your partner … your partner will indeed be out of your life, like they never existed. You forget about them because they are not memorable, not significant in your life. This person and you have something in common, neither one of you feel significant to the other. They have lost interest in you too. If they aren’t cheating, they are at least thinking about it all the time. Your dream has clearly shown you that you and your partner are not meant to be. This a straightforward prophetic dream. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What is the meaning of this dream? It starts with me climbing a wall that I am not supposed to, to find a secret behind the wall. Then I end up in a lake where I make sure not to fall in, by walking on boxes and cabinets. Then I get to the trap room.
You are overcoming barriers that have kept you from the truth. Once you start to uncover what has been hidden from you, the secrets, your emotions become a concern. You take extra caution not to fall into the emotional energy of what you just discovered by crossing that line (climbing the wall). You used the boxes and cabinets that contain even more of what has been hidden from you to use as “steppingstones,” to prevent you from falling into the emotions that the secrets contain. Then comes the trap room. This is your own trap where the secrets you have uncovered and climbed over and across are exposed – for you to figure out. How did you do with discovering the truth? You worked hard to overcome the barriers and emotions that could have stopped you. That’s what you need to explore now to understand what this dream is showing you about your life. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Every few months, I have a dream about this family that always rescues me when I’m escaping from danger. They usually appear when I’m looking for shelter in my dreams, and it’s always the same family. What does this mean and who are they?
The family is your Spirit Family. They are watching out for you and helping you avoid danger whenever you need it – and even when you didn’t know you needed it. To be looking for shelter in your dream suggest you are not safe in your present environment. To figure out how to change this you must write your dream down so you can identify what needs to change in your environment and plan your way out of it once and for all. Hint: since this feeling of danger and need for shelter happens every few months – think about what happens in your present environment that represents danger. Your Spirit Family is very concerned about you. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does a dream about my fingernails rotting and peeling them off mean? Also, having my teeth moving around easily in my gums like bending back and forth?
The fingernails represent old beliefs. They are rotten and serve no purpose, so you peeled them off. Peeling them off takes more time than just having them removed. So, this is an indicator that removing your old beliefs will take time, it will be a process as you peel away the layers. The teeth … represent what you communicate – that too is changing, as a result of removing your old beliefs. Summary … you are going through a massive transition that will change the way you express yourself as you relinquish your old ways of thinking. Documenting your journey will be priceless once you get through all this because you will be a whole new person.~ Linda Deir
Linda ... In my dream, I saw a woman with a third eye, and I told her how beautiful her eyes were. What does this mean?
You are everyone in the dream … you were looking into her soul (your soul) when you made that statement. Now that you experienced how beautiful you are it’s time to find your way. Your true path. This is a true awakening. The third eye provides perception beyond ordinary sight, it represents intuition and insight into everything you encounter. To master this, you must start writing down the insights and intuition you will be receiving – the new you who is now emerging!
~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream about riding in the back of a truck, when suddenly it runs over dead people, and they stood up and chase after us?
First, you are in the back of the truck which means you have no control over the direction of your life. This is now causing problems for you, bringing up issues that you thought were dead and gone but have come back to life and are now chasing you. You can’t run away from these issues. To take control of your life, you must get back in the driver’s seat and face what you have been running from. This insight will help you with this: https://lindadeir.com/fear-and-uneasiness ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean when I dreamt of getting my dream apartment, but people clutter it up with their things, and someone asks me if they could take my parking spot in the garage?
Even though your dream is to have your own personal space the people in your life do not respect that. The question is, who are you allowing to invade the personal space in your life? Your personal boundaries are being invaded on every front. This only happened because you allowed it. This is what you need to acknowledge and change, or it will never stop. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why do my dreams have me spending weeks and months with my dead father? We eat dinner together, spend time together, and he plays with my kids.
Your deceased father doesn’t feel like he’s dead. Now that he’s on the other side he knows he’s not dead, so he continues to enjoy the things he valued most while he was here. He doesn’t feel separate from you and his grand kids. His actions are proof that he is not dead from this world and that death is not the end. So, just let him join in anytime he likes and if your kids notice he’s there, just explain this to them. This insight will help you understand how this works: https://lindadeir.com/the-purpose-of-living-in-two-worlds/ ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why did I dream about my child dying? We were at a home for a party, and there was this yellow box with the gifts. Inside was a gun. My oldest daughter tried to stop her sister from holding the gun, they fought over it, and their fingers pulled the trigger.
Something childish within each one of them is dying off, not a literal death. The party represents a joyous time and a celebration. The gifts with the gun in it is what this party is all about. In their individual struggle to bring this ending about they both pull the trigger, meaning, even though they feel differently about what must end they both take action to end it. Yellow represents intellect, so this is a matter-of-fact response rather than an emotional one. The outcome is, expect to see each one of your daughters grow out of their child like behaviors. It will be a struggle, like the dream displayed (growing pains). They will each be moving through this growth spurt differently, yet at the same time. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I had a dream that I was with former friends (friends I am no longer cool with). We were in the car, and they pulled off a drive by. What does this dream mean?
Even though you are no longer cool with them you are still a part of their energy because you were in the car with them when they did a drive by. You must work on breaking that old familiar energy that you still have with them for this to stop. Expect this to take your full awareness, as this is a strong connection. Imagine no longer aligning with this energy and how different you will be. To achieve this, start a journal and write about what the truth is for you every day for 15 minutes. If you do this for one month you will see and feel like a new improved you! ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Is it possible to change a nightmare into a dream?
A nightmare is meant to get your attention. Change of some kind is what will transform your nightmare into a dream. This will require you to understand its meaning and make the needed changes in your life that the nightmare brought to your attention. You can’t change a nightmare into a dream, only heed the message the nightmare is conveying and make the appropriate changes in your life to resolve why the nightmare was necessary. After you take the action and understand its message will the nightmare end on its own. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does this dream mean? I was in a store, and I picked 3 packs of candy. I could only afford 2 of them so as I was putting back the 3rd pack of candy the cashier just disappeared and so I stole the 3rd pack.
Although you felt like you stole the 3rd pack of candy you didn’t. The cashier disappeared which made this a moot point. You thought you could only afford two, but that wasn’t the point. What was available to you was three but because you felt you didn’t deserve three you assumed you stole the third one. Your self-worth is the message in this dream. Stop underestimating yourself. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why is it hard for me to talk in my dreams. I can talk but it feels like I’m gasping for air while talking. It’s so weird. When I really need to say something, it barely comes out. So frustrating?
In the dream state all communication is telepathic. Your thoughts are your words. So, in the dream state, you attempted to communicate with words and it’s not instant – it’s a struggle. You must realize that you are living in two worlds, this one and the one you came from. You return to the one you came from every night when you sleep where everything is instant and telepathic. So, when you want to communicate in your dream state just think it and it will be spoken for you, naturally, without any effort at all. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Last night I had a freaky dream. My family and I were sitting at a table, and I went outside for some fresh air. When I looked up, I saw the moon, blood red, and it was falling apart. When I went back inside my family was gone. What could this mean?
The blood moon represents a lunar eclipse and is viewed in astrology as being deeply transformative times that can bring abrupt and sudden change. While this is true, the energy of an eclipse is like a Universal hand that reaches down from the heavens and puts you where you need to be. A time of leaving what is safe and comfortable in order to grow more fully into your true self. This insight will help you understand this dilemma better: https://lindadeir.com/when-you-are-not-accepted-for-who-you-are/ ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... How does a person know 100% why they dream or where the dreams come from? I know I hear all the time about what they are supposed to mean, but how does a person really know for sure?
Like anything else, you won’t know FOR SURE until you experience it. You cannot fully experience it until you start writing them down, but that’s just the beginning. So, if you really want to know FOR SURE you must be consistent and patient with the process. By the way, the Native American Indians refer to sleep as, little death. This means that you return to the world you came from when you sleep. This is where you receive an analysis of how your life is going in this world in the dream messages. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I cried in my dream and woke up really crying? Is this normal?
You are “one” in the dream state, where there is no separation between here and there. So, to wake up crying, or any other emotion is not unusual at all. Crying releases stress, tension, and frustration. So, in your dream, whether you were working through a problem or crying tears of joy, crying brings relief and balance back into your life. This is a powerful healing dream. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Have you ever met anyone who has DRC (dream reality confusion) because this is what I have been experiencing lately?
Yes … when you are lucid it will feel real! Of course, all dreams are real but when you are lucid you are not limited to experiencing one world or the other. The real reality is unlimited as you exist in multiple realities when you are dreaming. However, most of the time you define your experiences by happening in one world or the other. As your consciousness increases you will realize this, and the confusion will lessen. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does this mean about me? When I was little, between 8 and 9 years old I had a recurring nightmare. After having this nightmare about 12 times as I recall, it came to a point where I knew I was dreaming and held my breath to wake up. By the time it happened the 12th time I knew I was dreaming. What is this telling me?
Something happened at that age, 8 to 9 years old, that was frightening. Recurring dreams happen when you miss the guidance the dream is attempting to convey. A nightmare is an urgent attempt to get your attention! When you became lucid you took action by holding your breath to stop the nightmare. This is how you regained control over the frightening nightmare, which was the message of this dream. You held your breath to heighten your awareness stopping the nightmare. You took control of your life. This repeatitive nightmare healed a fear you had in the physical world. Do you remember what used to frighten you, between 8 and 9 years old that seemed to stop without much effort of your own? I sense that it has to do with being bullied. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I dreamt about my deceased mother-in-law, but she’s alive. What does this mean?
In your dream you saw the future and here’s why. At some point, she, like all of us, will move on from this earthly existence. Having a dream like this caused you to question reality, as opposed to the way you used to perceive it. This was the point of your dream, investigating it’s meaning leading you to the larger reality. This is just the beginning, so expect many more dreams and lucid experiences showing you more. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why is the perception of time skewed while dreaming?
In reality – there is no time. This dream is proof that this earthly life is an illusion. When leaving this dimension, we all return to a timeless reality where everything happens simultaneously. When you sleep, your dreams release you from this limited reality to one where everything is possible and instant. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I had a dream with my deceased dogs in it this morning. Does it have any meaning?
The meaning is – your dogs are not dead, just not here in this dimension. Your dogs are playfully engaging with you as though nothing has changed, just released from the limitations of their bodies. They miss you. Love is constant on the other side of the veil where your dogs currently reside. Your dream is proof that this life is not all there is. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream of seeing broken glass all over in the marketplace? It seems they are selling it.
Broken glass represents a change in perception. This change in perception is being sold to shoppers in the marketplace and they buying it. This is a prophetic dream about how people will be perceiving reality in a very different way from the way they currently do. There will be no resistance to it. Everything is changing in now. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why did I wake up so sad from a dream of me not being able to graduate high school?
Your sadness is rooted in your disappointment of not being able to move to the next level of living your life after school. You are stuck repeating the past. Think about where you are holding back in your life and start writing that down. You can’t see it when you’re in it, so you must write these things down as they pop into your mind. Don’t expect to know them all at once, it’s going to be a process of remembering. The payoff comes from writing down what is popping into your mind the moment it happens and review it in a few weeks or a month. This will provide you with everything you need to graduate high school and beyond. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I’ve been having this recurring dream for months now. I’m on a boat that starts sinking and crashes into something. What does this mean?
For starters, dreams that repeat over and over again happen when you are not paying attention. The sinking or crashed boat represents crashing emotions. No sooner than the boat starts sinking it crashes into something. As you begin to sink emotionally you lose control and that’s when you crash. To put a halt to this you must start writing down what has you so upset. Do this before it goes any further, taking you to the next event, the crash. Be careful not to let this consume you. Start writing this out on paper so you can regain control. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... My father passed away and I saw him in my dream. I was so happy knowing he wasn't dead, so I started crying but I woke up and realized he was dead. What does this mean?
What you realized while you were still in the dream is your father is not dead. When you woke up from your dream you went right back to believing it was just a dream and that he was dead. You experience two worlds, one where you acknowledged your father is not dead, and this one where he is dead. In the greater reality – your father is not dead, the only thing that died was his physical form, the body. He is just fine and not dead, only transitioned from this world to the other one. When you said, “you were so happy knowing he wasn’t dead,” that is what you realized from a higher awareness. This is what your father was conveying and why you had this dream. Here’s a quote from John Lennon, “dying is like getting out of one car and into another.” Your father is at peace knowing you know this now. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream about a proposal ring?
You will be receiving an offer, a proposal that will require you to make a commitment of some kind. What was your response? The immediate feeling you had when receiving this proposal ring is where the details of the meaning of this dream resides. Did this proposal feel like it contained a ring of truth? Answering all these questions are very important to understanding the full meaning of your dream, so you can decide what is best for you. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... My dreams in the last months are full of destroyed houses. What do these dreams mean?
These repetitive dreams represent destruction of residential real estate values. The fact that you are having these same dreams repeatedly reinforces that this is going to happen and happen soon, like an urgency. If you are in a business related to real estate, then you need to hedge your exposure to real estate related endeavors. Consider how you are positioned and adjust to this changing real estate environment while you still can. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What's the meaning of dreaming about my dead father telling me, “I told you before, you have to go back and work!” … giving me money to use for myself when going back to work?
Having to “go back” suggests you are not ready to move on to what awaits you beyond this life, you have more “work” to do here in this world. The “money” represents his support, along with the value you possess when you said, “to use for myself,” so you can achieve what you came here to do. When he said, “I told you before,” suggests that this is not the first time this has been brought to your attention. Apply your natural born gifts and talents to your life’s journey now because you have help from beyond this world supporting you. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean that my baby was bleeding in a dream?
Blood represents energy, life force. The baby represents new life, like a new project or idea. Your new project or idea is losing energy, as the life force is draining out of it. This drain could represent money, and or, forces outside of your control that are bleeding it dry. This dream is letting you know that your baby, your special project or idea, is in jeopardy. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why do I dream of being back in school?
School is about learning. To go “back to school” in a dream means you missed something the first time and now it’s time to try again. You are the student once again, only this time you are possibly ready to learn what you missed the first time. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream about someone that I liked a lot, but I never seen or met them before? I also think this is the first time I’ve seen him in my dreams.
Dreams are all about energy. That’s why when you were dreaming you recognized the energy of the person, which is what you liked about him. You liked his energy. In a dream, the energy supersedes what they look like. You questioned this way of recognizing someone because you are used to using just one of your senses, which is seeing with your eyes, in the physical world and not their energy. In your dream you saw the essence of the person rather than just seeing and perceiving them with your eyes. So, the message of this dream is to remember what this felt like and use these superpowers in your daily life to determine if someone is right for you or not. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why do I keep dreaming of a faceless friend who is silent?
That is your Guide. Your Guide is there waiting for you to be ready to recognize and interact with them. Although you are able to recognize that this is a friend, you are not ready to hear what they have to tell you. They are faceless because they want you to focus on their energy, and not what they look like. In doing this, they are teaching you to use your intuitive abilities more than you have been. This is how you knew they were a friend in your dream, you felt their energy. When you apply this way of perceiving people and things in the physical world you will be much more accurate. To harness this, start a journal and write about the energy of the people you know from the perspective of what their energy feels like. In this world … this will let you know if they are truly a friend. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why did I forget an event that happened to me? It felt like a dream while it was happening and I still can’t remember it, only small parts of it. I was very scared and shocked when this was happening, but I was distant from it at the same time.
This incident was more than you could handle. You didn’t forget it; you left your body while it was happening and that’s why you thought you forgot it. So, even though it happened, you left the scene while it happened by going out-of-body. From this out-of-body perspective, you didn’t experience the trauma of what happened because you weren’t there, only your body. Your feelings of being scared and shocked only happened after you started to recall bits and pieces of that incident long after it happened. This is proof that you are not your body. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I never take the driver seat in my dreams. I am always sitting in the back. What does this mean?
You are passive and not in control of your life. When you take the driver’s seat you decide the direction of your life. When you are the passenger then you are just along for the ride. You said you were sitting in the back, which is usually where kids sit in a car. Kids are under the supervision and control of their parents. You are not a kid, so get out of the back seat and get in the driver’s seat. If you intend to be in control of your life and the direction you are headed, you must take this bold step now. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does hearing a clock ticking in my dream mean? I’m having a random dream, random event but hear a clock ticking the whole time.
It’s all about time. It’s time to do something, or time is running out. Time is the central theme of this dream, attempting to get your attention to act right now. Saying that this dream was a random event suggest that this dream is unlikely or just a fluke, but it’s not, it’s an important message for you to take seriously, so you don’t miss an opportunity that has a shelf life, a time limit. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why did I dream about my mom having cancer and spreading it to all her kids, including me?
You are everyone in the dream. Cancer represents suppressed anger. Think about how the mom’s anger has affected the lives of all her children, including you? The mom is unwittingly spreading disharmony to the most vulnerable, rooted in her own lack of self-love. Suppression of any kind is dangerous to your physical, mental, and emotional health. To determine what you are suppressing start writing in your journal about these issues, so you can tell yourself the truth. Getting these repressed feelings down on the pages will allow you to see this for what it is. Only then will you have the capacity to release it once and for all. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does this dream possibly mean? Recently, a year and a half ago, my grandma passed and last night I saw her in my dream. She looked lost and confused, she even brought some sugar with her and left it behind.
She is lost and confused, stuck between worlds. You can help her move past this by first, thanking her for the sweetness she brought to your life (sugar she left behind). In your daily life, envision her in your mind and until you feel her energy. Tell her, out loud, to turn around and go to the light where everyone is waiting for her. This is where she will discover eternal sweetness. Once you do this, I bet you won’t see her lost or confused in your dreams ever again. Of all the people she knew, she came to you to help her out of her lost and confused state. You are a strong connection to her, and her to you. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... My mom had a dream of me shaving my hair off and when she asked why I did that, I said I hated it. What does that represent? My hair is my favorite feature.
Hair in a dream represents inner growth. The longer the hair the more inner growth. Shaving off your hair represents a new slate, a whole new you. There’s something about your life you hate and that’s what you are eliminating. Just so you know – you don’t have to shave your hair off to do that. However, your favorite feature (your hair) has become your identity, which is due for a change. A change that will reflect what you like about yourself resulting from your inner growth. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... In my dream, my deceased grandfather said to me, "I am not dead". What is the meaning of this dream?
It means that you don’t die when you are released from this world. You return to source energy where you are unlimited and totally alive. In fact, once on the other side you have perfect health, and your energy is at its full capacity. Your grandfather wants you to know this, so you realize that your life in this world is not all there is. From his vantage point, he sees how limited people are. He does not want that to happen to you. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean when people are wearing black and white clothes in my dream?
Clothes in a dream represent the role you are playing in your life. Clothes also represent a cover up, like protection from being exposed. Black and white means you, and, or the people around you see things as black and white. They see everything one way or the other, with no grey area. This is a rigid finite way of perceiving things that leaves no room for imagination or possibilities outside of their ridged black and white world. So, how is this finite role affecting you? Does this agree with you, or stifle you? Write your answers down in your journal to see what is right for you. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean when I dreamt about my teeth falling out? I have braces, so it would be really weird for my teeth to just suddenly fall out. But in my dream, it felt so real where some of my teeth were beginning to come loose.
Teeth that are loose or falling out in a dream represents problems with communication. But even with the braces holding your teeth in a rigid place they are still coming lose. This means that nothing you do to keep your teeth in place will work to prevent you from verbalizing your thoughts. You have been holding back what you really think and feel. It’s time to express yourself, not repress yourself. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I dreamt about my EX. He was ignoring me. From what I can remember, I was running around with a wedding dress on, that had a normal smaller black dress over the top of it. What is this all about?
Under your external persona, the wedding dress represents your secret desire to be married. Your EX ignoring you is representative of not getting your needs met because his desires don’t match yours. Not getting your needs met will not happen by chasing it (running around). Your needs will not get met by making yourself smaller either (smaller black dress) or someone you are not (normal black dress). The message in this dream is you can’t cover up or hide who you are and what you desire. Being true to yourself is the only thing that will make you happy, so waste no more time trying to cover that up because it won’t work. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream about being followed or chased by a Pitbull? I would pick up a rock and throw it so he'd chase it, so I could find another place to hide, but the Pitbull kept coming back.
You are trying to run away from someone who is bullying you (Pitbull) in your daily life. The dog represents masculine energy, so this bully is likely to be a boy or a man or could be the masculine energy of a girl or woman. Since Pitbull’s are notorious for their aggressive behavior, this person should be easy to identify. Think about who this could be. You attempted to divert the bully’s attention away from you, but they continue to come back. This dream is showing you that you can’t hide or divert your way out of this situation. You must confront the bully, or this will never stop. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... A man I met in my dream was tracing (drew) ‘stars’ with his finger on each of my shoulders and arms, and then kept quietly saying something under his breath. At the end, he told me, “You’ll see me in your dreams.” I’m so creeped out, what could any of this mean?
This is your Guide helping you find your way. In your dreams, he will be showing you how to reach your goals with his help, like wishing on a star. The stars represent your own inner light that shines through any darkness (your ability to overcome any difficulty along the way). Your shoulders represent the responsibility you will be capable of taking on. Your arms represent the support and creativity you will have along the way. You have a powerful Guide on your side. This just caught you by surprise – that’s all. So, get ready for more dreams with him guiding you to a powerful limitless adventure in your dream so you can play that out in your earthly life. Write these dreams down so you don’t miss any of this. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... My mom passed away over a year and a half ago. I don't dream much but when I do it's always about her still being alive. What does this mean?
You are having these dreams about her being alive – because she is alive. The only thing that changed is that she was released from her body. She is alive and doing better than she ever did when she was confined to the physical form. This is confirmation that this life is not all there is. She doesn’t want you to live in fear, only to miss your life. She realizes how she missed hers because she thought the body was her, when it was just a temporary vehicle to function in this dimension. She knows this now, as she continues to repeatedly pass this truth onto you. Once you understand this fully, she will no longer need to keep reminding you. Maybe then you and your mom can have other adventures in your dreams. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream of multiple people trying to kill themselves and I'm trying to console them but not having the time?
The multiple people in your dream trying to kill themselves is you. You are everyone in the dream. The killings represent many aspects of you that you are attempting to eliminate, however, you are conflicted when, at the same time, you are trying to console them. The message this dream is conveying is – you can’t have it both ways. This bout of hesitation becomes obvious when you run out of time. Time is up. The part of you that you are trying to kill off doesn’t need to be consoled; you need to let that go and move on. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean when someone who died is coming to me in my dream’s multiple nights in a row and keeps saying they have to tell me something, but it's always interrupted. Even if they say it, I can’t hear or understand them. Can you explain this?
You are being distracted (interrupted) from receiving guidance, preventing you from being reached. The message in this dream is that you must deal with the distractions in your life. Start by setting aside quiet time and just be open. Take a walk, listen to music, read a book, write in your journal … anything that relaxes you. Go where you cannot be distracted. This is just the beginning of your journey to becoming conscious, so you can begin to hear what the guidance is telling you. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... I had a dream about two dogs on the roof. I was teasing the one on a leash then the free one chased me down the stairs. What does my dream mean?
The dogs represent male energy. They are on the roof, above you, looking down on you. You teased the dog who is restrained from reaching you – you are asking for trouble. As soon as you do that the free dog chases you and you attempt to run away from the problem that you created when teasing the restrained dog. Summary: you are creating your own problems when it comes to the males in your life. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does kicking a car in a dream mean? I was kicking the car door specifically, but I wasn't trying to get in and I wasn't angry in the dream.
The car represents your control in the physical world, taking you where you need to go. Kicking the car door focused on where you would be sitting, in the driver seat, where you would need the most safety and protection, testing its durability. Is it durable enough to take you where you intend to go in this life? Does it have what it takes to get you there safely? Could be a warning of a pending car accident of getting hit in the driver’s door, so be aware of this when driving. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean when I dreamt about my deceased step grandfather saying, “you guys are supposed to leave together,” but he ends up leaving us behind?
When he said, “you guys are supposed to leave together” that speaks to your age group, your generation. He left you all behind because it’s not your time to go where he is. You are not finished here yet. In your dream, you felt the urge to go with him – a natural impulse to follow him back to your real home. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why do I continuously dream about animals with no eyes?
Animals represent highly developed instincts. This dream is telling you to rely more on your instincts and less on what you see. Since you are having these dreams repeatedly, this is a message you must heed because you are missing something that would be obvious if only you followed this guidance. To perfect this ability to trust your instincts, your intuition, start writing down what you are experiencing every time you perform on this. Before long you will be doing this automatically without much effort at all. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... How can I interpret this dream where I am pregnant and that my baby has a cat face?
The cat represents feminine energy. If you are actually pregnant, then you will likely have a girl. If you are not pregnant then it represents a new life; a new job, a new idea, something new that has feminine energy associated with that’s coming into your life. Female energy represents intuition, so pay special attention to what your intuition is telling you. Write it down so it becomes second-nature for this to be a part of your new awareness. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean when my 29-year-old son (deceased) came to me in a dream telling me he's freezing cold and shivering and crying? He passed away on 2/18/2020. This is the first dream I’ve had of him since he passed.
I am so sorry about your son dying. To answer your question, your son is stuck between worlds. He is “frozen” in one spot and cannot move on to where the unconditional love awaits him. This can happen when people leave this world unexpectedly or are still attached to something left undone or never started. It’s too late to change any of that, so here’s how you can help him get unstuck. Tell him (out loud) to look ahead and go into the light where everyone is waiting for him. That works! ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What does it mean to dream that you are attending someone’s funeral, and they are moving or talking in the coffin? It is disturbing when they move, but it is extremely disturbing when they talk.
The message that this dream is conveying to you is – just because they died from this life doesn’t mean they’re dead. You don’t die when you leave here, you ascend. What really got your attention is when they talked. Talking is communication, and that too, proceeds death. Communication with those in the after life is easier than you think. The veil between worlds is getting thinner. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... Why did I have a dream when I was 3 years old where someone shot me with a gun, even though I never knew that guns existed at the time, and my parents never let me watch anything violence at that age?
Something died inside you at 3 years old, an ending. It’s related to a traumatic event (getting shot with a gun). It may not “seem” traumatic in the way people think about trauma, but it was for you. I had a similar traumatic experience when I was 20 months old that changed my life forever. It was the worse and best day of my life. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... My deceased son was 21 years old when he died, but whenever I dream about him, he looks like a 6-year-old. What's the meaning of the dream?
That’s when he was his happiest. He was very young when he crossed over, so it would make sense that he would appear at such a young age. He lived a short life. Also, when we are six years old, we are still one with everything. It’s a powerful age because we are still connected to where we came from. All this changes by the time we turn 7 years old. Write your dreams down to continue to gain a more expanded understanding of yourself. ~ Linda Deir
Linda ... What is the meaning of my dream? I was outside with my two children and a meteor shower started which fell right on us, like a rain shower, then there was a huge rainbow in the sky afterwards.
The meteor shower that resembled a rain shower represents a (meteor) expanded understanding of your life followed by (rain) cleansing away your old life. Once you have fully processed these changes your future is bright. Since you two children were in this dream with you, these changes will affect your kids as well. Write this dream down so you can track how all this unfolds. This is just the beginning, keep a journal to document how your dreams play out and you will have amazing realizations. ~ Linda Deir
