Here’s the excerpt from this man’s written review; “I have listened to your entire book, Guided, and I am amazed at your ability to listen and pivot based on the guidance you receive.”
Here was my response to this man’s review … I’m going to describe how it works – how I learned to do this. Here’s what I did at one point in my life when I was made aware that I needed to stop my mind and mouth from running off. Here’s what my Spirit Guides helped me realize and how I responded as they presented me with the way to achieve this.
Here it goes … one day I decided to not speak out my opinion about anything, so I stopped myself from voicing my opinion in any conversation or confrontation. I forced myself to listen and not express my opinion about anything. To stay true to this experiment that I was being guided to do, I couldn’t even gesture, like nodding my head in my attempt to engage, as that was just a roundabout way of giving my opinion. I was to remain neutral at all costs. This went on for months. This was easier to do with people who didn’t know me because their expectations of any predictable behavior didn’t exist.
I experimented with the mastery of listening to guidance and here’s what happened …
As I experimented with this new discipline it was made clear to me that “thinking” was just like “speaking” it out loud. When you operate from the higher levels they (my Guides) make it painfully clear, that for this to be effective there could be no fudging. I became aware that this was the first time I ever learned to listen – really listen. This was a higher level of listening and thinking that was initiated from my Spirit Guides that I chose to explore.
This connected me to the pure guidance that was always there. The fact that I was freed from playing into the same social behavior as everyone else cleared the way for me to experience this fully. It allowed me to see things for what they really are.
The benefits turned out to include more than a higher level of listening. Many things were available to me now. It was a heightened awareness that opened me up to what felt like everything. Ideas would randomly flood into my head. These ideas didn’t come “from” me they came “through” me. When I listened with my heart my intuition was heightened. This tune up brought the connection I already had with my Guides to a higher high.
Here’s what I learned from this experiment. I learned to listen, really listen! I could “hear” more than ever before. For starters, I heard that what people said was not what they meant. This is how young kids unwittingly get themselves into trouble when they just blurt out what they know, or what they pick up on or repeat from those around them. This is when you got shut down and learned to stop telling the truth – even to yourself.

HOW IT WORKS: It’s time to reclaim this natural ability in your life. Just slow down long enough to let it work. There is so much value in telling yourself the truth, so you stop being so vulnerable to being lied to. It’s a mastery you already possess, you were born with it. It’s a combination of self-control while opening to what your Spirit Guides have to show you. However, it’s always your choice to explore it or not. It’s not a question of finding your Spirit Guides because they have always been there for you. It’s about operating at a higher level and just letting it work!
